Tough to find good fried chicken in Montgomery
county but good old Roy Rogers beats them all;
large juicy meat pieces with a nice thin crust; did
I mention a tasty biscuit and fresh baked potato? -

Okay, When I grew up Roy Rogers had the Marriott Hot Shoppe QUALITY. Pappy Parker, great Slaw and Fixins bar. Still offering decent burgers, good fries, very good Roast Beef (Arby's is synthetic manmade )
The finest Fixins Bar and MAMBO SAUCE available in the price category.
Furthermore in my experience the Management Team is first class. Lastly Please judge a restaurant by sanitation and restrooms. -

Tasty meal-good service.
I visited first time (12/27/18).
Arrived late afternoon for quick dinner.
The restaurant was not busy.
I ordered 2 piece fried chicken combo. (See Photo)
The customer service Excellent.
The chicken good flavor but; very salty after taste.
The mashed potato/gravy good flavor w/peppery gravy flavor.
The biscuit tender/tasty w/great butter flavor.
Great Plus: I was able to substitute:
Bottle Water instead of a fountain drink (i.e. soda). -

It's been forever since I've been here because of my previous disappointing visit and I went in Friday night just before 7 and was disappointed again. Wanted to get some fried chicken and the fried chicken bin was completely empty. Asked if they had some coming out soon and was told it would be a 16 min wait if I wanted some. Def not what I would call fast food. Ended up getting something else and my whole visit was at least a half and hour and they never put any chicken out available to buy. Not sure how they can go so long without fried chicken on a friday night.

I always heard people hyping about Roy Rogers, but as a McDonalds loyal I never gave them a chance. When confronted for the decision between Roy Rogers and Wendys (a safe choice) I decided to try something new - and so I ended up having my first experience ever in a Roy Rogers.
When I came in, I was excited, the restaurant had plenty of space and was very clean (always a favorite thing of mine!). I'm not particularly picky with service in fast food restaurants but I didn't feel I was served right - the lady barely looked or spoke to me. She just stood there waiting for me to order. I went with a cheeseburger meal.
Now, the important thing is that the french fries were good because I mean, who ruins french fries? But the beef patty just didn't taste right. I had to overdo the mayonnaise in order to get through the taste. I cannot speak for the rest of the food, but I can say that there's a lot of fast food restaurants out there for me not to come back.
